Year 2009 International World Customs Day was marked on 26th January 2009 in a workshop at the Kenya Revenue Authority Training Institute (KRATI), Mombasa. The event was marked concurrently with the launch of the KRA’s Marine Unit at the Kilindini a commissioning of the scanners at the Moi International Airport, Mombasa. The event was graced by the Minister for Finance accompanied by the KRA’s Board of Directors, Commissioner General Mr. M G. Waweru and key stakeholders.
