CUSTOMS AGENTS LICENCES

The Commissioner, Customs and Excise Department of Kenya Revenue Authority would like to inform concerned persons that Customs Agents Licences will expire on 31st December, 2004. Interested parties are therefore advised to apply for renewal of their licences by 30th September 2004.

Application forms may be obtained from Times Tower, Nairobi 9th Floor or Customs House, Mombasa on payment of Kshs.200 in respect of applications for new licences or Kshs.50.00 in respect of renewal of an existing Licence.

Applications received after 30th September, 2004 will only be accepted for consideration upon payment of a non-refundable late application fee of Kshs.20, 000.00. Applicants who wish to renew their licences should settle all outstanding queries and/or bonds in force.

All licensing conditions according to the 8th schedule of the principal regulations to the Customs& Excise Act, should be fulfilled for the application to be accepted
