NOTICE
CUSTOMS BONDED WAREHOUSES, TRANSIT GODOWNS, DUTY FREE SHOPS & CUSTOMS BONDED FACTORIES (MUBS) LICENCES.
The Commissioner of Customs Services Departmemt, Kenya Revenue Authority would like to inform all concerned persons that Customs Bonded Warehouses, MUBs, Duty Free Shops and Transit Godown Licences will expire on 31 st December 2005. Interested parties are therefore advised to apply for renewal of their licences not later than 31 st October 2005 . Applicants for new licences except Transit Godown Licences are also advised to apply within the same period.
Application forms may be obtained from 10 th Floor, Times Tower ( Nairobi ), Forodha House ( Mombasa ) and Customs House (Kisumu).
Applications received after 31 st October 2005 will only be accepted for consideration upon payment of a non-refundable late application fee of Kshs.10,000/-. Applicants who wish to renew their licences should fulfill the following conditions amongst others:-
- Settle all outstanding queries
- Cancel all bonds executed in the Boffin system; and execute fresh ones for use in the Simba 2005 System.
- Meet the average monthly output in duties and taxes of Kshs.10 million.
Application forms for renewal of licences should be submitted to the respective Regional Heads where the Bonded Warehouses, MUBS, Duty Free Shops and Transit Godowns are situated, while new applicants should submit their forms to the following address.
