The Kenya Revenue Authority wishes to notify all motor vehicle dealers, manufacturers and repairers that pursuant to the Traffic Act Cap 403 Section 23(1) Laws of Kenya, they must obtain a valid Dealer’s General Licence upon application and payment of the prescribed fees.

The commissioner may issue the number of dealers licenses required and with each license, shall issue two identification plates.

All persons concerned should therefore obtain the required licence with immediate effect. Failure to comply with the notice will lead to enforcement action.
