In accordance with the powers conferred upon me by Section 234 and 236 of the East Africa Community, Customs Management Act, (2004) I wish to serve a final notice on the importers/owners/clearing agents of the under mentioned motor vehicles to avail the same for physical verification together with all the relevant documents relating to their importation and payment of taxes in their possession.

i)      Immediately upon service of this notice or within fifteen (15) days of the notice hereof.
ii)      Between the working hours 8.00 am and 5p.m.
iii)     Forodha House, Community Nairobi.

Please note that failure to comply with this Notice will lead to consequences spelt out under Section 204 and 209 of the East Africa Community, Customs Management Act, (2004) which include seizure and forfeiture of the said motor vehicles. Further, all those persons who may have already presented their vehicles are hereby called upon within 15 days hereof to finalize any outstanding formalities failing which action may be taken as set out above.
